Philip Glass is one of those classical composers that really blends into New Eden well given his work with the synthesizer that lends a futuristic feel of his work for films like Koyaanisqatsi and his radical Einstein on the Beach opera, really pushing the boundaries about the future of classical music and composition. Also the EVE bgm is also very similar to his work (and perhaps provided the musical grammar for electronic music in general (though it would be remiss of me to not include Wendy Carlos in the conversation about electronic music and imagining the “future” )). Sorry for the long lecture but Glass continues to be one of my favorites 15 years later after first hearing them.
Do note this is in fact the same image as the one I submitted for the screenshot contest, but the station was similar to the building on the cover of the film
