I had way too many ideas for this reward. So I scrapped all of them and started with a black canvas. My first thought was "what spaceship would music look good coming out of, like a speaker?" And my answer was the Stratios. With that back ring, it was a natural.

So originally that was where I started. But then it hit me, maybe it would be better to visualize the impact of sound on the universe. But how to visualize sound? And that is where the optical effects came in, using the warp features of photoshop and adding my own intentional painting overlays I created a dance of light that I hope captures the visual impact of sound in space.

Then I needed a theme. I began the process thinking the theme would be "Sonic" or "Soundscapes" or something like that. But then "Spheres" came to me and I added an ice planet and some additional lights. And boom.
